Liverpool transfer news round-up: Celtic winger James Forrest linked, Ben Woodburn leaving on loan
A round-up of the latest speculation regarding ins and outs at Anfield
Celtic winger James Forrest has emerged as a surprise £8million target for Liverpool, according to reports north of the border.
Jürgen Klopp has been tracking the 27-year-old Forrest, reports The Scottish Sun, with a view to making a move during the summer transfer window.
Forrest, who typically plays on the right-hand side of midfield and is under contract until 2022, has scored 11 goals in 34 appearances for Celtic this season.
Elsewhere, Red Bull Salzburg striker Moanes Dabour is reportedly interested in moving to Anfield.
The 26-year-old Israeli has been in excellent form this season, scoring 20 goals in his 30 outings for Salzburg so far.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, Valencia are tracking Dabour but the player himself wants to move to Merseyside and work with Klopp.
Meanwhile, back in Scotland, Rangers are reported to be among those interested in taking Ben Woodburn on loan from Anfield.
Rangers manager Steven Gerrard is an admirer of Woodburn having work with him during his time in charge of Liverpool's academy teams.
However, as reported at the weekend, Rangers face competition from the likes of West Bromwich Albion, Blackburn Rovers and Hull City.
