It's almost time for kick-off at Anfield. The teams are out and You'll Never Walk Alone is getting its first airing of the afternoon.
KICK-OFF: And we're off! The final Premier League match of the day is underway at Anfield, and it's the perfect opportunity for Liverpool to respond to last weekend's horror show on the south coast. They'll know all about West Ham though; the Hammers won here 3-0 at the start of last season.
5 mins: GOAL! LIVERPOOL 1 WEST HAM 0:
Well, that didn't take long, did it? With just over four minutes on the clock, Adam Lallana has steered Liverpool into the lead in front of the Kop. Bursting forward from midfield, Roberto Firmino and Divock Origi combined to send Sadio Mane to the left touchline. The Senegalese international looked up and found Lallana in the middle with a low cross, who then took one touch to steady himself before another sent the ball low across Darren Randolph.
7 mins: Loris Karius watch: under pressure, the goalkeeper has just punched a corner to the edge of the penalty area where Manuel Lanzini returned the ball by volleying it high and wide.
8 mins: Better from Karius as he turns a shot away from birthday boy Michail Antonio at the near post. The German goalkeeper is going to be under scrutiny both from the critics and opposition players for some time.
