Stormzy calls out Theresa May and leads Football's Coming Home chant during Wireless headline set

Grime star also couldn't resist leading a chant of 'Football's Coming Home' after England's win against Sweden

Stormzy called out Theresa May again during a blistering headline set at Wireless Festival 2018.

The Gang Signs & Prayer artist headlined the second day of the event in Finsbury Park, London, which also saw performances from Krept & Konan, Migos and French Montana.

His set featured a 40-piece orchestra and pyrotechnics. At one point during the performance, the Prime Minister's image, showing her as Batman villan The Joker, was broadcast on giant screens to thousands of cheering fans.

Stormzy repeated his rap critique of May which he previously performed at the Brit Awards in February: "Theresa May where's the money for Grenfell/What you thought we just forgot about Grenfell?/You criminals, and you got the cheek to call us savages/You should do some jail time, you should pay some damages."

His set followed England's win against Sweden to secure their place in the World Cup semi-final, and Stormzy couldn't resist leading the 50,000 capacity crowd through a chorus of "Three Lions".

On Sunday 8 July, the last night of the festival, Drake made a surprise headline appearance after DJ Khaled failed to show up due to "travel issues".

The Scorpion artist played a brief set where he aired out new tracks from his latest album, including "God's Plan", "Nice For What" and "I'm Upset".

Wireless organisers have since confirmed they had known "for a few months" that it was unlikely DJ Khaled would be able to attend the festival.

"Due to a scheduling conflict related to filming of The Four, DJ Khaled was not able to commit to perform at Wireless Festival," a statement on Twitter said. "Although we have known for a few months and tried to make it work, it wasn't possible."
