Letter: Forget Greenwich: our towns need the money

The most alarming thing about your Millennium Dome mock-up is what appears to be a vast car park in the foreground ("What a way to run a millennium", 22 June). That amount of extra traffic would terminally snarl- up south-east London's already congested roads for miles around. It is essential that the Greenwich plans include provision for full and adequate public transport access - both by new rail links and by bus from park- and-ride car parks situated well away from the site itself.
