Letter: Snoring

Sir: Monique Roffey's article ("I'd love to go to bed with you, but don't expect to sleep", 23 September), starts with: "Snoring is one of the most anti-social human habits."

Let's face it, we all snore in varying degrees. It's the way nature made us, so why make a big thing about it?

Even our recently departed and much loved cat snored loudly enough to wake our visitors. Accept it; it's part of life and no big deal.

So, Monique, if you love him and he loves you, do what you do together in the bedroom, and sleep, if required, in separate ones: we do, as we find many of our friends do as well.
