Letter: Mourning Hitler
Sir: J C B Gill writes "It should not be forgotten that when Belfast was blitzed Eamon de Valera authorised the Dublin Fire Brigade to be dispatched to assist in quenching the fires and helping the injured" (Letters, 22 November).
Is that the same Eamon de Valera who called at the German Embassy on 2 May 1945 to sign the condolence book for Adolf Hitler?
