Ienjoyed Michael Williams' column ("No man is an island", Readers' Editor, 30 January), and agree about there being more than the two islands to the British Isles, and that "England" does not embrace Wales, Scotland and Ireland. But you missed out the Isle of Man. Here on our rock we are not part of the UK, but we are part of the British Isles. We have a parliament, which has been in existence for 1,000 years. If I were to send you this by snail mail you would see we have our post office and stamps, too.
