Sir: My son Charlie, aged 11, was refused entry to Harrods because he was carrying his school bag, which is a green rucksack.

We were on our way to renew his uniform, which can only be bought at that store. No entry, no uniform, no sale.

Yours faithfully,

LULU SINCLAIR
