I WELCOME the unemployed delivering meals on wheels ('Cuckoo in clubland', 7 February). The Women's Royal Voluntary Service is responsible for delivering 16 million meals a year and we need all the volunteers we can get. The unemployed have more time on their hands and are often willing to give us their assistance. In some cases this has led to employment in a new field.
