GERALDINE Bedell (Real Life, 22 August), suggests it is 'a group of women' who have launched UK Living. Lest we forget, UK Living is part of a Sky multi-channel package made possible by financial backing from industry 'big boys', Thames, Cox Communications and Tele-Communications Inc. This may explain why its programming may be less than radical.
