Sheffield Wednesday are giving a trial to the Swedish international striker Alexander Ostlund. The 20-year-old, out of contract at AIK Stockholm, will play for the Owls reserves against Burnley tomorrow.

Leeds have agreed to switch their FA Cup third-round replay against Rushden and Diamonds from next Tuesday to Wednesday 13 January, at the request of ITV, who are televising highlights of the game.

Manchester United's FA Cup fourth-round tie with Liverpool will be televised live by Sky Sports on Sunday 24 January, with a noon kick-off.
