SURREY have released the 26-year- old off-spinner James Boiling, who made five Championship appearances this summer. He is expected to sign for Durham.

THE Hampshire pace bowler, Martin Jean-Jacques, 34, has been forced to retire with a knee ligament injury. The club have also released the batsman, Rupert Cox.

YORKSHIRE have re-appointed Martyn Moxon as captain for next year, his sixth in charge. Ashley Metcalfe has been given a new one-year contract.
