THE Royal Lytham and St Anne's Club is bidding to stage Olympic golf if Manchester wins its campaign for the 2000 Games. Hopes of golf being included at the Atlanta Games in 1996 have disappeared, but there may be a better chance of its inclusion if Manchester hosts the following event.
