Britain's Peter Charles and Ireland's Cameron Hanley shared the honours after jumping five clear rounds in yesterday's Six Bar competition on the closing day of the London International Horse Show at Olympia.

The two victors were team-mates until Charles, winner of this year's King George V Gold Cup at Hickstead, switched from Irish to British nationality two years ago. Charles, 49, maintained his clean sheet with the 12-year-old mare Murkas Midnightlady. "She could have jumped bigger," Charles said afterwards.

London International Horse Show (Olympia): Six Bar: 1= Murkas Midnightlady (P Charles, GB) and Southwind (C Hanley, Irl) clear in 4th jump-off; 3 Uppercut II (G Billington, GB) 4 faults in 4th jump-off.
