Racing: Gallagher: 'I firmly deny being involved in dishonest activity'

"Like my fellow jockeys, I am very sensitive to the integrity of horse racing and am disappointed at the outcome of yesterday's hearing. No charges have been laid against me, nor have any breaches of the Jockey Club rules been alleged. I firmly deny that I have been involved in any activity of a dishonest or improper kind.

I would like to thank the many owners and trainers who have given me their unqualified support over the last few days.

I have been advised by my solicitors to make no further comment at this stage."
