MOONLIGHT DANCE confirmed that she is among the best of her generation with an easy length defeat of Three Angels in the Prix Saint-Alary at Longchamp yesterday. The Andre Fabre-trained filly is entered in the Oaks but is more likely to run in the Prix de Diane. Peter Chapple-Hyam's Cairo Prince finished last but one behind Molesnes in the Prix Vicomtesse Vigier.

Tabasco Cat ended the American Triple Crown hopes of Go For Gin when beating the Kentucky Derby winner by three-quarters of a length in the Preakness Stakes at Pimlico, Baltimore, on Saturday.
