A group of men showcase their athleticism in viral footage of a sport that can best be described as volleyball meets kung fu meets soccer.

The video " Kung Fu Volleyball or Kung Fu Soccer? " shows two teams of three men on an indoor court divided with a net at head height. The players then play a game similar to volleyball, but using only their feet.

Like volleyball, the aim of the game seems to involve scoring points by getting the ball over the net and on the floor of their opponents' half.

This crazy display of kung fu-style athleticism continues for two minutes 31 seconds, during which there are more than 20 overhead kicks and at least two full mid-air summersaults.

The video was uploaded to YouTube by user DailyEpicVideos on July 17. YouTube statistics show that it was viewed the most times from July 20-21 and as of 1pm GMT July 21 has been watched 1,384,096 times; in addition, data from Unruly Media's Viral Video Chart shows that the video has been shared over 43,000 times on Facebook in the past 24 hours.

Though it is not clear where the video was taken, the mixture of kung fu and soccer skills has been promoted in China for several years: one of the most widely publicized supporters for mixing the two sports is business man Kong Debao, who began a kung fu/soccer school in 2007 in Beijing.
