Bulls replace Burgess with his twin brothers

Bradford have lost one Burgess, but added two others to their first-team squad.

The England forward, Sam Burgess, has played his last game for the Bulls and is preparing for his first season with South Sydney in the NRL. But the family name will still be well represented at Odsal next year following the promotion of his twin brothers to the senior Bradford squad.

Tom and George Burgess, three years Sam's junior at 17, have been allocated squad numbers for 2010. Like their other brother, 22-year-old Luke who is a regular at Leeds, the twins are both props and are expected to get their first chances at Super League level this coming campaign.

Bulls have also included two other Academy graduates, Joe Wardle and Adam O'Brien, on a youthful roster. "The four new boys will bring their exuberance to the team and have already impressed in training," Bradford's coach, Steve McNamara, said.

The Bulls' new Australian scrum-half, Matt Orford, has been granted his visa and is free to join his team-mates.

Castleford have put their 17-year-old back-row forward, Oliver Holmes on a full-time contract. They have signed just two new players for the 2010 season – Steve Snitch from Wakefield and Paul Jackson from Huddersfield.

Confirmation of Crusaders' move from Bridgend to Wrexham has been delayed whilst the transfer of ownership of the club is ironed out.
