Martin Jones, Simon Organ (penalty strokes) and Chris Mayer each scored twice for Cannock with Tom Bertram scoring two consolation goals for Bournville.

At Reading, a crude tackle in the second minute by Ben Barnes allowed David Ralph the chance to give the Students the lead from the penalty spot. Andrew Langlands put them further ahead in the second half before Jonny Loose pulled one back for the home side.

Hampstead and Westminster, with goals from Matt Hetherington and the South African Justin King, beat Stourport 2-0 to lead Chelmsford - who had a 5-2 win over Brooklands - by three points at the top of the First Division table.
