Worcester Norton, giant-killers of the third round of the EH Women's Cup, have been rewarded with a home tie against Exeter in the fourth round draw announced yesterday. It was a fine weekend for the club, who on Saturday beat Kettering 3-1 with goals from Kate Draper, Elaine Shepperd and Tina Evans, to retain their one-point lead at the top of the Midlands Premier division. They followed this up with a 2-1 Cup win against Deeside Ramblers from the National League.

Norton's success owes much to their youth policy. Their success has been built around Sophie Wood, 16, and Charlene Mason, 15, in midfield, the 15-year-old goalkeeper Fiona Nash, and Jackie Russell, 15, and the sweeper Evans, 16, in defence.

The Cup holders Ipswich have a home draw against Ben Rhydding from the North Premier while the only clash of Premier National League sides sees Trojans entertain Sutton Coldfield.

EH CUP Fourth-round draw: (To be played Sunday 8 December) Aldridge v Liverpool Quilter; Basingstoke v Harleston Magpies; Bradford Newitts v Doncaster; Cambridge City v Hightown; Canterbury v Hounslow & Ealing; Epsom v Wisbech Town; Ipswich v Ben Rhydding; Leyland Motors v Rover Oxford; Loughborough Students v Wimbledon; North Stafford v Southgate; Olton & West Warks v Horsham; Poynton v Chelmsford; St Albans v Timperley; Surbiton v Slough; Trojans v Sutton Coldfield; Worcester Norton v Exeter.
