Asafa Powell, of Jamaica, and America's Tyson Gay will go head to head twice in England this summer. The sprinters have entered the 100m in the Birmingham Grand Prix on 10 July and the London Grand Prix on 5-6 August in rematches of their race at Gateshead last year, which Gay won by just 0.02sec.

Powell said: "Tyson and I enjoyed a great race against each other in Gateshead and I'm sure it will be the same at the Aviva Birmingham Grand Prix."

Powell ran the fastest ever time in the United Kingdom in Gateshead in 2006 when he clocked 9.77sec.
