Barcelona star Andres Iniesta has dropped a hint that he could be open to a move to Manchester City or Arsenal, following Atletico Madrid's title win this weekend.

Following Barcelona's 1-1 draw with Atletico at the weekend, which saw them surrender their La Liga title, an emotional Iniesta suggested that an era had ended in Catalonia.

He said: "We were relying on winning this game.

"We haven't and that makes this season disappointing, because if we had won, everything would be different.

"The season is over, lots of things are over."

Barcelona manager Gerardo Martino announced he was resigning after the game, with Luis Enrique the favourite to replace him, however Iniesta's comments suggested that he was also thinking about exiting the club.

The midfielder has spent all of his career at the club and although he signed a new five-year deal in December, he is reportedly said to be considering his options after growing dissatisfied with the way things were going at the club.

However it remains to be seen whether Iniesta's comments were merely an off the cuff response to losing the title on the final day of the season or the sign of something more concrete.
