Tottenham Hotspur are tracking Gent pair Moses Simon and Laurent Depoitre.

The north London club have a long interest in Simon, 20, a 5ft 6in Nigerian who plays mistly on the left wing, and 26-year-old Depoitre, who scored in his Belgium debut against Andorra at the weekend.

According to the Daily Mirror, Spurs have been interested in Simon, already a full international, since he was a teenager, but he chose to train at Dutch club Ajax instead.

The pair helped Gent win the Belgian Pro League last season; Simon scoring seven league goals and Depoitre 13.

Mauricio Pochettino remains short of options up front, with Harry Kane - who has just one Premier League goal this season - the only recognised striker in the squad.
