QPR clash with Stoke a 'must win game' says Djibril Cisse

Djibril Cisse today delivered a stark warning to his QPR team-mates ahead of Sunday's Barclays Premier League clash with Stoke, declaring: "We must win this game, there is no other choice."

Rangers go into their final two matches of the season on the brink of suffering a immediate return to the npower Championship, with even maximum points not enough to guarantee survival.

And with their last game against a Manchester City side who will be fighting to secure their first title since 1968, anything but a victory against Stoke this weekend appears unthinkable for Mark Hughes' men.

Striker Cisse told QPR's official website, www.qpr.co.uk: "I like it when there is pressure.

"The manager will have to make his choices about who plays but, whether you are on the pitch or on the bench, you must be ready.

"Everybody in our dressing room must show what we are made of. We have a lot of characters and we must all do our bit.

"We must win this game, there is no other choice."

Rangers have won their last four home games to give themselves a fighting chance but their away form has been miserable, culminating in Sunday's 6-1 west London derby thrashing at Chelsea.

Cisse said: "The plan now is to lift one another this week.

"We will all try to help each other to be ready for Sunday because it is a big, big game.

"It is a final for us. If we can win this game it ,, will be a big step for us.

"We have all week to prepare ourselves and what is encouraging is that our home form is really good. That is what we need to concentrate on and work on."

Cisse, 30, scored the fourth goal since his January move from Lazio on Sunday but, with QPR having already conceded six, his celebration was one of fury rather than joy.

"When you are 6-0 down, it is difficult to celebrate when you score," he said.

"People who know me know that my reaction was all my anger and all my frustration of the day coming out.

"But, for me, this is finished and my mind is already on this weekend and what we must do."
