Ole Gunnar Solskjaer on Manchester United vs Alkmaar

Manchester United head north to St James' Park to face another side struggling to find their stride this season, Newcastle United.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer put a brave face on the midweek trip to AZ Alkmaar but a goalless draw in the Netherlands will have done nothing for the team's already fragile confidence.

Steve Bruce has been equally bullish since Newcastle were thrashed at the hands of Leicester last week, and has hinted at changing his tactics in order to find a solution to the team's struggles.

That would mean reverting to the Rafa Benitez method of deep, compact banks of defence in front of their own box – something that United's pacey attack have had particular difficulties with this season.

Here is everything you need to know to watch the game.

When is it?

The match kicks off at 4.30pm BST on Sunday at the St James' Park.

How can I watch it?

The match is being shown in the UK on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League. You can stream the game online via Sky Go or the Sky Sports website, providing you are a Sky Sports subscriber.

Prediction

Manchester United are having a terrible time right now and the home faithful will be up for this one. Newcastle 1-0 Manchester United.
