Ole Gunnar Solskjaer: Winning trophies is key to club culture going forward

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer insists Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes are fully fit despite speculation ahead of Manchester United’s game against Bournemouth.

The midfielders were both included in United’s starting line-up at Old Trafford in pursuit of a fourth straight win.

And Solskjaer maintains speculation over his players comes with the territory of playing for the Red Devils.

“No, I was told about that last night, it’s part and parcel of being here,” Solskjaer told BT Sport. “There’s always speculation.”

Solskjaer meanwhile has targeted the next five games for United, motivated by previous results against those sides.

The United boss added: “It’s nice to shorten the distance because that’s what we’re fighting for, Champions League next year.

“But our own games is our concern and the boys have been good at focusing on their next task.

“The next five games are against teams we have dropped points against, we have a point to prove, against teams that have struggled. We don’t want to give them any hope.”
