Jamie Carragher has been up to his usual antics on Twitter, this time calling out Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho.

Carragher has developed a habit for trolling some of football’s biggest names on social media and was recently engaged in a Twitter spar with Rio Ferdinand as the two exchanged blows over Red Monday.

But the former Liverpool defender has now turned his attention to Phil Neville after the Valencia assistant coach voiced his delight in the wake of Manchester United’s 1-0 victory against City in the fourth round of the EFL Cup.

Neville kept it simple, posting an image on Wednesday night that read “Manchester is Red” with the caption, “Good night”.

But not wanting to miss an opportunity, Carragher immediately pounced.

In light of Mourinho’s recent revelation that his current living arrangements in Manchester have developed into something of a “disaster”, Carragher used the story as the perfect ammunition.

Opting to drag Mourinho into his Twitter spat, Carragher quicky replied to Neville: “And Jose still won’t live there.”

Despite watching his side overcome City on Wednesday night, it still seems Mourinho can’t catch a break.
