Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal was delighted with his team's performance and stated that it was the best they had played since he arrived at the club - despite losing 1-0 to Chelsea.
Van Gaal may have seen his side's six-match winning streak come to an end, but the Dutchman was more than happy with their performance.
"It is the best I have seen of my team this season," he said. "I'm very disappointed with the result.
"We have created. In the second half we created eight (chances) and Chelsea three, that is unbelievably good.

"We were the dominant team on the pitch but we lost. In football, the result is everything.
"I have said to the boys that we make an improvement every week, a step forward, and that is the most important thing.
"Of course we are not the champions - I did not expect that, our goals were also lower.
"The main goal is that we are progressing as a team and we have done that today.
"We also need results in football. It is not always the best team that wins."
