Ferguson's silence riles Northern Ireland manager, Worthington
Nigel Worthington has revealed his frustration at failing to speak to Newcastle's Shane Ferguson about a call-up to the Northern Ireland squad for tonight's Euro 2012 qualifier against Estonia.
"I've been trying for the last 36 to 48 hours," said Worthington. "It beggars belief when you read in the press that people want to represent their country and when you give them the opportunity to do so there's no willingness to say 'No, I don't want to be involved', or 'Yes, I'm coming'."
