Ever wondered what would be in Ronaldo's trolley? Here you go.
The Brazilian great posted this picture on his Instagram page today, clearly enjoying his big shop at Sainsbury's, and despite the "Fat Ronaldo" tag which he was known for throughout his playing career, it now appears that the 37-year-old has started the year on a serious health kick*.
But why is the highest goalscorer in World Cup history shopping in a Sainsbury's in England?
He is currently living in London, doing an internship at one of the world's biggest advertising companies WPP, working alongside its chief executive Sir Martin Sorrell.
"Eighteen years have passed and I’ve hardly studied at all; I feel a great need to become a student again," he had said about his new vocation.
"Learning from Martin Sorrell will be perfect. I won’t leave him alone, I’ll be asking him questions the whole day, just like a striker."
The former Internazionale and Real Madrid striker Ronaldo, who scored 15 goals across three World Cups, is an ambassador for this year's tournament, which kicks off in Sao Paulo on 12 June.
