UEFA Nations League explained

It is all to play for for Scotland in League C Group 1 of the Uefa Nations League and Euro 2020 qualification when they face Albania in Shkoder.

Alex McLeish’s side could claim promotion and secure a Euros play-off place should they beat the Balkan side and Israel in their next two fixtures, but should the Scots lose both they would be relegated.

Scotland began their Nations League campaign with home wins over Albania and Israel, but they then fell to a 2-1 loss to the middle-eastern side in Haifa.

What time does it start?

Albania vs Scotland kicks off at 7:45pm (BST)

Where can I watch it?

The match will be shown live on Sky Sports Main Event from 7:30pm. Sky Sports subscribers can similarly watch the game via the SkyGo app. The match will also be available on Now TV by grabbing a day pass for just £7.99.

Player to watch…

Callum Paterson: The Cardiff City forward has been in fine form for his club, having scored three goals in his last four appearances for the Bluebirds. The former defender has been deployed at right-back or right-wing back in each of his nine appearances for his country, but the converted striker could prove to be the difference in what will be some very tense affairs for the Scots.
