Bristol Rovers surged into the third round of the FA Cup yesterday with a clinical 6-1 defeat of non-league AFC Totton.

The League Two team went 3-0 up within 13 minutes thanks to powerful strikes from Joe Anyinsah, Mustapha Carayol and Dan Woodards. Byron Anthony's header and two from Eliot Richards completed the win. Nathaniel Sherborne scored for Totton.

Wrexham, Blue Square Bet Premier leaders, shocked League One's Brentford on Saturday, winning 1-0 at Griffin Park.
