Watch Mlada Boleslav beat Viktoria Plzen thanks to an assist from the goalkeeper
Video: Czech goalkeeper mimics Brad Guzan in calamitous assist
Every player wants to rival the likes for Cesc Fabregas and Mesut Ozil when it comes to assists - even goalkeepers.
Matus Kozacik, the Viktoria Plzen keeper, did manage to set up a goal during a match against Mlada Boleslav. Unfortunately for the Czech no. 1, he helped the opposing side score one of the easiest goals, with Jiri Skalak tapping the ball into an empty net.
Kozacik had come out of his area to clear a long ball from Mlada Boleslav. While he managed to get to the ball first, his clearance fell straight into the path of the Boleslav no. 10, who had a clear sight of goal with Kozacik miles out.
The goalkeeper's mistake led to Viktoria Plzen losing the match 2-1.
It's not the first time Kozacik has hit the headlines for all the wrong reasons: back in 2013 the Viktoria Plzen stopper allowed a tame back pass to roll under his foot and into the back of the net in a game against TSKA Moscova.
