Alessandro Caparco is being called the real-life FIFA goalkeeper following an incredible point blank triple save at the weekend.

The Italian goalkeeper was playing for CSMS Iasi in a Romanian top-flight match against CFR Cluj when he pulled off the near unbelievable string of stops.

Caparco first repelled a volley from the edge of the six yard box. Then, despite being behind the line, managed to block a follow up header from the same Cluj player. Yet the 32-year-old wasn't finished there because he somehow managed to block a fiercely struck third effort from inside the six-yard box. A fourth shot then came in but struck the bar - however Caparco looked to have it covered.

So unreal were Caparco's heroics, some on Twitter likened him to a video game goalkeeper.

Unfortunately for Caparco he couldn't keep Cluj from scoring for the entire 90 minutes, with CSMS Iasi ultimately losing the match 2-0.
