Dortmund lost the Champions League final last season to Bayern Munich and they were again beaten by the same opposition last weekend in the Bundesliga, going down 3-0 at home. In order to keep their hopes of qualification alive, Dortmund must win or face an acrimonious end to their campaign.

In seasons gone by this may have been a straightforward victory for Jurgen Klopp’s side but Napoli’s excellent performances in Europe this season has meant that the Germans no longer face a simple task.

Napoli have lost their last two Serie A games and lie third in their domestic league table, six points behind Juventus. However their European form has been much more consistent, winning three out of four group games.

Gonzalo Higuain will likely be the main goal threat for Rafael Benitez's men, the Argentine has scored three times already this season in the Champions League.
