Worcestershire registered a last-ball win over Leicestershire at Grace Road. The visitors won by two runs as the home side, chasing 204 for victory, finished on 201 for 9. They needed 14 off the last over from Phil Newport and, when nine came off the first three balls, Leicestershire looked to have the match in their grasp.

But Peter Hepworth, who had earlier taken a Sunday best of 5 for 51, was run out for 32 off the fifth ball and, with three needed off the last, Adrian Pierson was caught by Gavin Haynes at square leg.
