Cigar keyed up
Cigar, whose 16-race winning streak was ended in the Pacific Classic last month, remains on course for a crack at the Grade One Woodward Stakes at Belmont on 14 September.
The American superstar, due to head back to Belmont at the beginning of the week, worked over six furlongs at Saratoga at the end of last week, which marked "Salute to Cigar" day.
Following his workout, Cigar visited the winner's enclosure where the mayor of Saratoga presented him with a "Key to the City" - actually a large biscuit baked in the shape of a key.
Cigar will also tackle the Jockey Club Gold Cup at Belmont on 5 October, the purse for which has been raised to a million dollars, en route to defending the Breeders' Cup Classic on 26 October.
