ATHENS - Greece's parliament voted yesterday to send to trial the former conservative prime minister, Constantine Mitsotakis, for allegedly taking a bribe in the sale of a state cement company to Italy's Calcestruzzi.

The ruling socialists voted to prosecute Mr Mitsotakis, 75, on four separate charges of breach of faith, morally instigating a crime, taking a dollars 22.5m ( pounds 14.5m) bribe and violating his duties as a cabinet member. Reuter
