Honecker homes
BERLIN (AFP) - Germans from all walks of life are offering a home to Erich Honecker, the detained former East German leader, in the expectation that he could be released on bail until his trial on manslaughter charges. Under German law, to be eligible for bail he has to have a permanent place to stay.
