Ex-Bolivian dictator arrested
The fugitive former Bolivian president, General Luis Garcia Meza, once one of Latin America's most notorious dictators, was arrested by Brazilian police yesterday after spending a year living quietly under an alias, Reuter reports from Sao Paulo. Garcia Meza and a retired Bolivian Colonel, Gualberto Rico, were held at federal police headquarters.
