No Nordic war

STOCKHOLM (Reuter) - Norway and Sweden agreed they were unlikely to go to war with each other, and tore up a 1905 treaty creating a demilitarised zone between the two countries. The treaty, which aimed to defuse tension when Norway and Sweden ended their 91-year union in 1905, forbade troop movements or any military installations within nine miles of either side of their long border.
