Man bites dog ....no, really

MOSCOW (Reuter) - A man seized an Alsatian dog that jumped up at him in a park in the Ukrainian city of Dnepropetrovsk and savaged it to death in front of its horror-stricken owner, Itar-Tass news agency reported yesterday.

The agency said the dog, named Elsa, may have been aroused by a strong smell of alcohol emanating from the 37-year-old man as he walked through the park. When Elsa pounced, the man sank his teeth into the dog's throat.
