Italy suicide

A Christian Democrat town councillor killed himself this week after being questioned over a public-works contract, the seventh suicide victim of Italy's corruption scandal, Reuter reports from Rome. Valterio Cirillo threw himself off the roof of a block of flats in Pescara.
