A proposal for abortions of severely deformed foetuses in the last three months of pregnancy is angering opponents of abortion and threatening to reopen the debate on ethics which was started over euthanasia, AP reports from Amsterdam. Elective abortions are legal in the Netherlands only up to 24 weeks.
