Ethiopians 'face food shortages'
Asteep fall in production blamed on poor weather means Ethiopia and Eritrea face severe food shortages in 1994, Reuter reports from Nairobi.
The World Food Programme yesterday said 'some 2.6 million people face substantial shortages' and would be in urgent need of food aid up to April, but that up to 4.4 million people in Ethiopia would need aid all year.
