North Korea: Detained US citizen 'is a missionary'
North Korea has named an American citizen it has detained, saying he has been held since November and will soon be indicted. The US State Department announced that the man had been detained earlier this week, and called for his release.
Pyongyang's state-run news agency named the man as Jun Young-su, but did not say why he had been arrested. Reports in South Korea said Mr Jun was a resident of California and described him as either doing business in the North or doing missionary work. He is said to have entered the North legally and had visited before.
