Angolans arrive for peace talks
ADDIS ABABA (Reuter) - Angolan government officials and representatives of the Unita rebels arrived in the Ethiopian capital for last-ditch talks on ending the civil war.
It will be the first important meeting between the two sides since fighting flared up again this month, after Unita rejected the results of last September's general elections.
The leader of the government delegation, Faustion Muteka, special adviser to President Eduardo Dos Santos, said his team was ready to discuss both political and military issues. Previously Luanda had said it would only discuss military topics.
