'Bodily candles' are now on sale on e-commerce website and hive of surrealism Etsy, made out of eco soy wax and resembling grimacing mouths and faceless heads. Perfect for that special friend who likes to watch body parts slowly burn.

The product from uncannyartshop has been flying off the servers, seeing a "very high amount of orders" causing delays in shipment

The candles are 6cm tall and have the possibility of customisation, with their creators offering to add lipstick or a hat and more (may we suggest a single tear?).

"Each candle is carefully cast by hand with layers of wax, therefore there may be a small difference in the skin tone of each candle (adding to its uniqueness!)," the seller said. "Due to the nature of soy wax, there may be some small imperfections on the surface."
