TWO ticket touts are being prosecuted for contempt of court after allegedly breaking injunctions preventing them from dealing in Wimbledon tickets. The All England Club said yesterday that committal action had begun in the High Court after the two had been found breaking injunctions to stop them touting. They face a fine or imprisonment if found guilty of contempt.

The announcement comes after it emerged yesterday that a German businessman had paid pounds 50,000 for centre court tickets to an unauthorised agency, thus rendering the tickets invalid.
