A man was recovering in hospital after his finger was bitten off by a tiger at the Cotswold Wildlife Park, Burford, Oxfordshire. John Nike, 27, a resident of the Oxford night shelter, vaulted a fence into an enclosure and tried to stroke the 14-year-old Begum.
